Software for the people who run Kenya's colleges.
Soma360 is college management software for colleges, TVET institutions and training centres in Kenya. It is made by Soma360 in Nairobi, so that an institution can run admissions, students, fees, academics and staff from one place, from a student's first enquiry to graduation.
Why Soma360 exists
Many institutions keep admissions in one notebook, fees in a spreadsheet, results in another and M-PESA payments on a phone. Each department does its best, but the records never quite agree, and every report means copying numbers by hand.
Soma360 puts those records in one system that each department uses for its own work. Admissions officers move applicants to enrolment, finance sees payments matched to students as they arrive, lecturers record attendance and marks, and students see their balance, timetable and results on their phone.
We publish only what Soma360 actually does today. If something is not built yet, our pages say so.
How we work
Built for how Kenyan institutions work
M-PESA through your own paybill or till, fees in Kenya shillings, several intakes a year, competency-based training with Competent / Not Yet Competent results, and payroll with PAYE, NSSF, SHIF and the Housing Levy.
One system instead of many
Admissions, student records, fees, attendance, examinations, timetables, the student portal, learning, certificates, HR and payroll share the same records, so information is entered once.
Your data stays yours
Each institution's records are kept apart, staff see only what their role allows, and administrators can export all their institution's data at any time.
People you can reach
Questions go to the Soma360 team by WhatsApp, email or a support ticket inside the app, and setup is planned with you, department by department.
