Some services run on your institution's own accounts with other providers, so their charges are billed to you by them, not by Soma360.

- Sent through your own Africa's Talking account. Africa's Talking bills you directly for the messages you send.
- M-PESA
- Payments go to your own paybill or till. Safaricom's transaction charges apply under your agreement with Safaricom.
- Card payments
- Processed by your own Paystack account. Paystack's fees apply.
- Uses your own WhatsApp Business account. Meta may charge for some conversations under its pricing.
- Onboarding and data migration
- Every plan includes the self-service import wizard. Assisted data migration and on-site staff training are included on the Enterprise plan.

Questions about plans and the trial
Who is Soma360 for?
Colleges, TVET institutions, medical training colleges, vocational and professional training centres, driving schools, short-course providers and online training organisations, from a single campus to multi-campus groups.
Does Soma360 work with M-Pesa?
Yes. Each institution connects its own M-Pesa paybill or till through Safaricom Daraja, so fees go straight to your account. Payments are matched to the student and receipted automatically.
Can students use it on their phones?
Yes. The student portal works on any smartphone and can be installed like an app. Students see their timetable, fees, results, learning materials and can pay and check in from their phone.
Does it support competency-based training (CBET)?
Yes. Soma360 supports competency units, learning outcomes, practical checklists, evidence uploads, assessor allocation, workplace supervisor reports and Competent / Not Yet Competent results.
Can we bring our existing records?
Yes. The import wizard takes Excel or CSV files for courses, staff, students, opening fee balances and past payments, and checks every row before anything is saved.
How does the free trial work?
Register your institution and use Soma360 free for 30 days on the Growth plan. No payment details are needed to start, and you choose a plan when the trial ends.
Is our data safe?
Every institution's data is kept separate, staff only see what their role allows, sensitive roles use two-factor sign-in, important changes are recorded in an audit log, and you can export all your data at any time.
